TLC began in 2020 with Andy Thrush and his two sons, Isaac, and Eli. The company name and idea came from Andy's sister, Kimberly, while talking about what to do during the break from school amidst the pandemic. So, with a lawn mower and sweat Andy, Isaac, and Eli went to work around the neighborhood. Eventually word spread about the business and quality of service. Today, TLC has grown to 8 full time employees, 4 trucks, 2 trailers, and a plethora of professional quality equipment.

TLC serves all over Pierce County and into lower King County performing services in Landscape Maintenance, Landscape Design, & Landscape Construction.

TLC would not run without Alicia. Organization is her forte! Alicia has been a professional organizer for 10 years (www.AceofOrder.com) helping commercial and residential customers in getting their lives organized. She brings an extensive organization to TLC creating systems, handling all things behind-the-scenes and Human Resources.

Joe comes to TLC after owning his own successful business, spent years in the landscape service field serving customers successfully in landscape maintenance, construction, and design.

Joe and TLC have worked together on projects in the past. If the opportunity ever came to bring Joe onto the team, we would jump on it. Well, that time came and the stars aligned.

All of Joe’s exceptional skills aside, Joe’s relationship based service and demeanor is what return customers loved in trusting Joe with their landscape. Joe brings a steady attitude, a servant-leader type style and a team mentality that is a perfect fit.
On a personal note, Joe “…enjoys drawing and recently took up 3D Printing! And growing various fruit trees as well as training bonsai.”

Project foreman

Ryan is our Project Foreman! What an outstanding craftsman we have in Ryan. Ryan brings nearly a decade of experience in construction, landscape, and overall-amazingness to the team.

Ryan has an incredible eye for detail, is teachable, and will walk alongside his crew to ensure their success while serving the customer to the fullest. His communication is top notch with his team, the customer, and all stakeholders.

His colleagues describe Ryan as “a hard worker, a team player, and he is always willing to help, open to new ideas, and eager to give and receive feedback. Ryan goes above and beyond in his role, and acknowledgment of good work make him a valuable team member. I am grateful for the opportunity to work with him.”

Ryan is an outdoors type of guy! He enjoys family time, going to the gym, and hiking!

Crew Lead

Paden lives his life based on the principle that excellence is in the details and the quality of those details. Paden takes immense pride in his work and is always seeking to be the best version of himself both on the job site and during his free time.

Paden has an incredibly deep passion for cinema, plays three instruments (drums being his primary), and is involved with Seattle’s improv scene.

Paden also enjoys writing, football, drum corps, snowboarding, and going to the gym with Ryan.
